JPDCL Announces Scheduled Power Shutdown

SRINAGAR: Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL) has announced scheduled power outages in several areas of Jammu and Kathua on October 3 for maintenance work, affecting residential and commercial localities.

According to the Chief Engineer (Distribution), power supply to Jhullas, Chandak, Mandi, and MES will be affected from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. The outage will also impact Transport Nagar, Narwal, Railway Colony, Upper Chowadi, parts of Channi Himmat, Malik Market, Matto Colony, and adjoining areas from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

Additionally, Raj Bhawan, Panjtirthi, Kachi Chawni, Karan Nagar, parts of Amphalla, and nearby areas will experience a power disruption from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

In Kathua, the Superintending Engineer (Distribution), JPDCL, OM Circle, informed that Chainpura and adjoining areas will face a power outage from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

JPDCL urged residents and businesses in the affected areas to plan accordingly and apologise for the inconvenience caused during the maintenance work.
