GR Beigh Memorial Foundation holds march against drug abuse in Gurez

Srinagar, Sep 14: The GR Beigh Memorial Foundation, with the support of Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Anshul Garg, on Sunday organised a barefoot awareness march under the banner of Nasha Mukti Abhiyan at Dak Bungalow, Dawar, in Gurez area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Indu Kanwal Chib also joined the march, which witnessed active participation from locals, students, and members of civil society.

The march, led by Foundation Chairman Ishtiyaq Beigh, carried the slogan of building a drug-free Jammu and Kashmir and aimed to raise awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse.
