AMU Guest Teacher Notification 2025, Apply Online Before 15 Sept

Aligarh Muslim University has released the official notification inviting online applications for the post of Guest Teacher in the Department of Civil Engineering, Zakir Husain College of Engineering & Technology, AMU, Aligarh. The appointment will be on a purely temporary basis for the academic session 2025-26 or until the GSC meeting, whichever is earlier.

As per the notification, the upper age limit and qualifications are defined under university rules. The selected candidate will be paid as per university salary norms. The engagement can be terminated at any time without notice or reason.

Interested candidates who meet the eligibility can apply online through the AMU career portal before 15 September 2025. The online application fee is Rs. 500, except for PwD candidates who are exempted. Applicants should also send the hard copy of their application along with relevant documents to the Chairman, Department of Civil Engineering, AMU, Aligarh.

Important Dates:
The registration process for AMU Guest Teacher in Civil Engineering began on 1 September 2025. The last date to submit the online form is 8 September 2025. The hard copy of the application form with enclosures must reach the Department by 15 September 2025. The interview of eligible candidates will be held on 20 September 2025 from 10:00 AM onwards at the Office of the Dean, Faculty of Engineering & Technology, AMU, Aligarh.

Vacancy Details:
This recruitment drive aims to fill Guest Teacher vacancies in the Department of Civil Engineering, Zakir Husain College of Engineering & Technology, AMU, Aligarh.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must hold B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering and M.E./M.Tech in Civil Engineering or relevant branch, with First Class or equivalent in either at B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech. Other eligibility conditions regarding qualifications, NET, JRF or equivalent tests, Ph.D., and experience certificates must be in line with UGC and AMU rules.

Applicants need to apply online at careers.amuonline.ac.in. After online submission, the PDF application form must be downloaded, signed, and submitted in hard copy with supporting documents to the Chairman, Department of Civil Engineering, AMU, Aligarh before 15 September 2025, 4:00 PM.

Application Fee:
The non-refundable application fee is Rs. 500. PwD candidates are exempted from the fee. The fee should be paid online through the payment gateway at the time of form submission.

Selection Process:
The selection of candidates will be based on eligibility, scrutiny of documents, and an interview. The interview for all eligible candidates will be conducted on 20 September 2025. No TA/DA will be paid.
