Maharaja Hari Singh Foundation extends helping hand to flood victims in Jammu

Jammu, Sep 5: The Maharaja Hari Singh Foundation, under the leadership of MK Ajatshatru Singh, Founding Chairman, and Kunwarani Dr Ritu Singh, Founding Co-Chair, in close coordination with the District Administration Jammu, organised a relief donation drive to support the victims of the recent devastating flash floods in Jammu. The drive was kickstarted at Delhi Public School Jammu.

The relief consignment comprised a wide range of essential materials to address both immediate and long-term needs of the affected families. This carefully curated relief material was aimed at providing warmth, hygiene, comfort, and educational support to families and children displaced or affected by the floods, said a press release.

Kunwarani Dr. Ritu Singh, Founding Co-Chair of the Foundation and Pro Vice Chairperson, DPS Jammu, said: “The Foundation has always been committed to carrying forward the vision of Maharaja Hari Singh Ji, who stood for justice, compassion, and service to humanity. In these testing times, true to the motto of Service Before Self, it is our duty to come together and extend whatever support we can to those who are suffering.”
