CEO Rajouri Orders Staff to Resume Duty from Sept 8

SRINAGAR: Chief Education Officer (CEO) Rajouri on Friday issued a circular directing all teaching and non-teaching staff of the School Education Department to resume their duties from September 8, 2025.

According to the circular, School Education Department, Jammu and Kashmir, it is mandatory for the staff to attend schools positively from the said date.

The circular further instructs staff to ensure that a safety audit of school buildings is conducted by or before September 9, 2025, through the concerned agencies. “Detailed reports must be submitted via respective Zonal Education Officers, so that students can be called back to schools accordingly,” it reads.

The CEO termed the matter “most urgent” and impressed upon all staff to comply with the instructions without fail. (KNC)
