Classwork in Kashmir Schools to Resume from Monday – Alfaaz – The Words

Srinagar: The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) on Thursday announced that classwork in all government and private schools across Kashmir Division will resume from Monday, (Sep 8, 2025).

According to an official order, the decision comes in the backdrop of the recent inclement weather and subsequent flood-like situation, during which several school buildings were submerged and some structures sustained damage.

The Directorate has stressed the need to ensure safety of school premises before resuming academic activities.

The order directs all Heads of Institutions (HoIs) and staff to ensure proper cleanliness and sanitization of classrooms and school premises well in advance so that students can return to a safe and hassle-free learning environment.
