VC DDC Kupwara Haji Farooq Mir Visits Hailstorm-Hit Lolab Villages – Alfaaz – The Words

Kupwara: Vice Chairperson DDC Kupwara, Haji Farooq Ahmad Mir, on Thursday conducted an extensive foot visit to hailstorm-affected villages in Lolab, including Shranth, Bala, Doban, Chakla, Tenkipora, Zab, Kawari, Sevar Kawari, Warnow, and Check Warnow.

Accompanied by Tehsildar Lalpora, SDO Sogam, AEO Khurhama, and Horticulture Officer Doniwari with field staff, he assessed damage to paddy fields, walnut orchards, and fruit crops.

Haji Farooq Mir assured residents that their concerns are being addressed and confirmed that he has raised the issue with the Divisional Commissioner, DC Kupwara, and other authorities. He directed departments to submit a damage report within two days to expedite relief and compensation.

Public delegations also met him during the visit, and he pledged swift action on their grievances.
