Bijbehara PHE Division Warns of Water Supply Disruption Amid Heavy Rain

SRINAGAR: The Jal Shakti (PHE) Division in Bijbehara has issued a public notice, advising residents to store water and use it judiciously due to the ongoing incessant rainfall.

The notice warns that the continuous rain may cause damage to the headworks of various Water Supply Schemes, which could lead to a disruption in the water supply. The department has urged the public to prepare for a potential water shortage by storing water in advance.

The advisory, issued in the public interest by the Executive Engineer, states that the public should be cautious and conserve water until the weather conditions improve. (KNC)
