Srinagar, Aug 21: Punjab Cabinet Minister Aman Arora launched the official jersey of the Punjab Secretariat Cricket Club (PSCC) in association with Aryans Group of Colleges, urging employees to balance work with fitness and sports for a healthier lifestyle.
As per a statement issued, Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges, was the guest of honour. Neeraj Prabhakar, President, PSCC, presided over.
While addressing the players, Minister Aman Arora said that besides working in the offices, the employees should also be aware of their health. Sports play a very important role in a person’s life and make a person healthy and optimistic. He apprised the members, players & guests about the achievements of PSCC in previous years. Arora appreciated the efforts of PSCC and Aryans in nurturing young talent and providing them a platform to showcase their sports skills.
Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges, while motivating the players, said that Aryans always look forward to spreading educational services in the state as well as encouraging the youth towards sports. The Group is a major contributor to the PSCC jersey. He assured the players and the team management that he would continue to be associated with the club in the future and strive for the better performance of the club from time to time.
On the occasion, Bhupinder Singh, Sr Vice President, Gurpreet Singh, Vice President; Gurbir Singh, General Secretary; Amninder Singh, Treasurer; Harminder Singh, Joint Secretary; Harbhajan Singh, Press Secretary; Ranvir Bhangu, Captain; PSCC and Manu Kataria, Chief Finance Officer, Aryans, were present.
