BJP women’s wing pays tribute to cloudburst victims

Jammu, Aug 20: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir Mahila Morcha, organized a condolence programme at the Party Headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, to pay heartfelt tribute to those who lost their lives in the recent tragic cloudburst and flash floods that struck Kishtwar and Kathua districts.

The condolence programme was led by Adv. Neha Mahajan, President, BJP Mahila Morcha J&K, in the presence of a large number of Mahila Morcha activists.

The gathering observed two minutes of silence as a mark of respect for the departed souls and offered collective prayers for strength, courage, and recovery of the bereaved families.

The BJP leaders also lauded the relentless efforts of the administration, NDRF teams, and local volunteers, who are working tirelessly in rescue and relief operations despite extremely challenging conditions. All Mahila Morcha activists prayed to the Almighty to grant Moksha to the departed souls and to give courage and strength to their families to bear this irreparable loss.
