J&K Govt Recalls Several Officers from Ladakh, Orders Fresh Deputations – Alfaaz – The Words

Srinagar: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday ordered recall of several officers from the Union Territory of Ladakh and simultaneously deputed a new set of officials to serve there.

As per Government Order, a copy of which lies with Alfaaz – The Words, five officers have been recalled from Ladakh to Jammu and Kashmir, whom include; Rehmatullah Butt, Jr. Scale JKAS, Sandeep Singh, Jr. Scale JKAS, Akshay Sharma, Jr. Scale JKAS, Vivek Rattan, Jr. Scale JKAS, and Mohit Sharma, Jr. Scale JKAS.

In their place, the services of the six officers have been placed at the disposal of the Union Territory of Ladakh on deputation basis with immediate effect. Those include; Soheel Noor Shah, JKAS, Special Secretary to Government, Department of Forest, Ecology and Environment; Huma Khan, Jr. Scale JKAS, Under Secretary in the office of Chief Electoral Officer, J&K; Ayaz Ahmed, Jr. Scale JKAS, BDO Kaprin, Shopian; Mohd. Abrar, Jr. Scale JKAS, BDO Qila Darhal; Mohd. Sufder Bhat, Jr. Scale JKAS, BDO Kalarose, Kupwara; and Anupam Bhardwaj, Jr. Scale JKAS, BDO Dali-Udhyanpur.

The deputation will be for a period of two years or until further orders. The order further clarifies that the lien and promotion prospects of these officers will remain with the General Administration Department of J&K.

Additionally, the officers will be eligible for incentives as may be provided by the UT of Ladakh in due course. They will be deemed relieved with immediate effect and directed to report to the GAD of Ladakh for further posting.
