Jammu, Aug 18: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) senior leaders and MLAs, Arvind Gupta from Jammu West Assembly Constituency and Surinder Bhagat from Marh Constituency, held a public grievances camp at the party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, said a press release.
A large number of people, and deputations representing various sections and from various areas participated in the camp and presented their concerns before the leaders.
The citizens highlighted multiple issues including delays in local development works, irregular drinking water supply, inadequate sanitation facilities, poor condition of lanes and drains, and frequent power outages. Deputations from different areas also brought forward their specific concerns and urged for timely intervention, it said.
Addressing on the occasion, Arvind Gupta assured the people that every genuine grievance raised will be taken up with the concerned authorities on priority. Surinder Bhagat emphasized that the BJP’s mission is to serve every citizen without any discrimination.
