Indian Air Force Agniveer Vayu Rally 2025 From 27 August To 14 September

Indian Air Force has announced the Agniveer Vayu recruitment rally for candidates applying under the “Other Than Science Subjects” category. The rally will be conducted from 27 August to 14 September 2025 across designated venues. The number of vacancies will be announced later.

As per the official notification, applicants must have completed 10+2 or equivalent in any stream with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English, or have passed specific vocational or diploma courses meeting the same English and aggregate marks criteria. The age limit is for candidates born between 01 January 2005 and 01 July 2008, with the upper age at enrolment not exceeding 21 years.

Selected candidates will receive an annual increment in pay, starting with ₹30,000 per month in the first year, along with allowances, insurance, and a tax-free “Seva Nidhi” package after four years. The selection process will include physical fitness tests, a written examination, adaptability tests, and a medical examination.

Important Dates
The rally will be held from 27 August to 14 September 2025. The provisional select list will be published on 14 November 2025, and the enrolment list will be released on 01 December 2025.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have passed 10+2/Intermediate or equivalent examination in any stream from a recognized board with at least 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English. Alternatively, they can have completed a two-year vocational course or a three-year diploma in specified engineering disciplines with the same marks requirements. The age criteria require candidates to be born between 01 January 2005 and 01 July 2008. Physical standards include a minimum height of 152 cm for males and females, with specific relaxations for certain regions. Other requirements cover weight proportional to height and age, chest expansion for males, normal hearing, dental health, and visual acuity standards.

How to Apply:
There is no online application. Eligible candidates must report directly to the rally venue with the required documents, including educational certificates, domicile, Aadhaar, photographs, and any applicable NCC certificates. Reporting time is 6 AM, with entry closing at 10 AM.

Selection Process:
The selection will be conducted in multiple stages, starting with a physical fitness test (run, push-ups, sit-ups, squats), followed by a written test on English and Reasoning & General Awareness, adaptability tests, and a medical examination. Candidates must qualify in each stage to progress further.
