CMO Kupwara Conducts Extensive Inspection of Healthcare Facilities in Lolab – Alfaaz – The Words

Kupwara: Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Kupwara Dr. Masrat Iqbal Wani on Thursday conducted a comprehensive inspection of several health institutions and facilities across the Lolab belt.

The inspection tour began at the New Type Primary Health Centre (NTPHC) Cheerkote, where the CMO conducted a detailed review of infrastructure and service delivery. He later extended his visit to other key facilities including NTPHC Potushai, NTPHC Wavoora, NTPHC Kuligam, NTPHC Maidanpora Lalpora, and NTPHC Tekipora Wavoora.

As part of the field visit, the CMO also inspected the Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Sogam.

Accompanied by the Block Medical Officer (BMO) Sogam, he evaluated key operational aspects such as availability of staff, medicine stock, and the overall functioning of the hospital.
