JNU Teaching Posts Notification Out For 65 Vacancies In Various Schools And Centres

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has invited online applications from eligible Indian citizens for faculty positions of Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor. A total of 65 vacancies are available across various schools and centres in JNU, New Delhi.

As per the Advertisement No. RC/73/2025 dated 18.07.2025, these positions are offered under different specializations in schools like Social Sciences, Language, Literature & Culture Studies, Environmental Sciences, Computer & Systems Sciences, and more. Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications:
Professor: An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. in the relevant discipline with at least 10 years of teaching/research experience and a minimum of 10 publications as books/research/policy papers.
Associate Professor: A Ph.D. degree with a minimum of 8 years of teaching/research experience and a minimum of 7 publications.
Assistant Professor: A Master’s degree with 55% marks and NET/Ph.D. in the relevant discipline as per UGC norms.
