Dr Farooq Abdullah visits bereaved families

Srinagar, Jul 22: National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah today visited Batwara and Pir Bagh in Srinagar to offer condolences to Pardesi and Naqshbandi families on their bereavement, a press release.

In Batwara, Dr Abdullah visited senior party leader Ghulam Qadir Pardesi to express his heartfelt sympathies over the demise of his sister-in-law. He also conveyed his condolences to Ahsan Pardesi, MLA Lal Chowk, and other members of the bereaved family. He prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and strength to the family in this hour of grief.

Later, NC president visited the family of Ghulam Rasool Shah Naqshbandhi, a trader, in Pir Bagh to condole the passing of his wife. The deceased was the sister of party veteran and close associate of Sher-e-Kashmir Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah, Khawaja Habbibullah Mir of Dalgate.
