SRINAGAR: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Monday arrested a postal employee in Bandipora after he was caught red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 6,500.
“ACB team conducted a trap at the Post Office Bandipora, during which Mudasir Ahmad Najar, a resident of Rohama, Baramulla, currently posted as a Postal Assistant, was apprehended while accepting the bribe,” officials said.
The official said the accused was caught on the spot and taken into custody. Legal formalities were completed.
Further investigation is underway. (JKNS)
