Indian Army SSC Tech 2025 Notification Out For 379 Posts, Online Applications From 16 July

Indian Army has released the short notification for SSC (Short Service Commission) Technical Entry Scheme 2025 for unmarried male and female engineering graduates. This recruitment aims to fill 379 technical officer vacancies, including posts for widows of defence personnel.

The course will commence in April 2026. Applications will be accepted online from 16 July to 14 August 2025 via the official Indian Army website. There is no application fee for any category. Candidates must have a B.E./B.Tech degree in relevant disciplines to apply.

The selection process includes shortlisting based on educational qualifications, SSB interview, and medical examination. More details will be available in the full notification soon.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must hold a B.E./B.Tech degree in a relevant engineering field. For SSC Tech Men and Women, the age limit is 20 to 27 years as on 01 April 2026 (i.e., born between 02 April 1999 and 01 April 2006). For widows of Defence Personnel, the maximum age is 35 years as on 01 April 2026.

Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria can apply online through the official website joinindianarmy.nic.in from 16 July to 14 August 2025.

Selection Process:
The selection process includes shortlisting of applications based on educational background, followed by a 5-day SSB interview comprising screening, psychological testing, group tasks, and a personal interview. Those recommended by SSB will undergo a final medical examination.
