IUST Invites Applications For Junior Technical Assistant Post, Apply By 21 July

Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), Kashmir has released an employment notice inviting online applications from domiciles of Jammu & Kashmir for the post of Junior Technical Assistant. The appointment will be purely on a contract basis for a period of six months under the Directorate of Information Technology & Support Services.

As per the official notification, candidates must possess a relevant degree with a minimum of 55% marks and two years of professional experience. The selected candidate will be offered a consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 25,000. The engagement does not guarantee continuation or regularization.

Interested candidates can apply online through the official website of IUST (www.iust.ac.in) from 09 July 2025 to 21 July 2025. After online submission, a hard copy of the application form must be submitted to the office of the Director, DIT & SS, by 22 July 2025.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must have a B.Tech, B.E., or B.Sc. degree in Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Electronics & Communication Engineering from a recognized university with at least 55% marks. They must also have working knowledge of Biometric Attendance Systems and proficiency in network management and security.

Additionally, candidates should have two years of experience in Biometric Systems, Network Support, or Hardware/Software maintenance. Good communication skills and experience in a university or large institutional setup will be preferred.
