NIELIT J&K Vacancies 2025 – Apply For Lab Assistant And Supporting Staff Posts

The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), J&K & Leh has released an official advertisement inviting applications from eligible candidates for engagement of Junior Resource Persons on a contractual basis. The positions are for the implementation of Digital J&K Project and are initially for a period of one year, extendable up to three years based on requirement and performance.

As per the official notification Advt No: NIELIT(J)/R/01/2025 dated 03 July 2025, a total of 5 posts are available — 3 in Jammu and 2 in Srinagar. The posts include Junior Resource Person (Lab Assistant) and Junior Resource Person (Supporting Staff) with a monthly consolidated remuneration of ₹30,000. The last date for application submission is 14 July 2025 up to 3:00 PM.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications:
1) Junior Resource Person (Lab Assistant):
Diploma (after 10+2) in Computer Science, IT, Electronics OR B.Sc. (CS/IT) OR BCA OR A-Level from DOEACC/NIELIT.
Candidates with higher qualifications and experience in Web Development, Data Analytics, Cloud, IoT, AI, Cyber Security (CCNA preferred) will be given preference.

2) Junior Resource Person (Supporting Staff):
Graduation in any discipline OR DOEACC O-Level with minimum 2 years experience in administration, finance, or management.
Candidates with knowledge of MS Office, Accounting Software, CCS Rules, and NIELIT computer certificates (BCC/CCC) are desirable.

Age Limit:
Candidates must ensure their name, date of birth, and father’s name match across all certificates. No specific age limit is mentioned; however, eligibility criteria must be fulfilled as on the date of application.
