Zakir Husain Delhi College Announces Assistant Professor Posts, Apply By 12 July

Zakir Husain Delhi College has released the official notification inviting applications from interested and eligible candidates for Assistant Professor posts. There are 28 vacancies open for the mentioned position across 13 academic departments.

Eligibility Criteria:

The essential qualification required is a Master’s degree with 55 percent marks in the concerned or allied subject from an Indian university or equivalent degree from a recognized foreign university. Candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC or CSIR. However, candidates with Ph.D. degrees from top 500 global universities as per QS, THE or ARWU rankings are exempted from NET. Age limit and other relaxations will be as per UGC and Government of India rules.

The application fee for the recruitment process is structured according to categories. Candidates belonging to UR, OBC and EWS categories have to pay ₹500. SC, ST, PwBD and Women candidates are exempted from the payment of application fee.

Selection Process:
The selection of candidates will be on the basis of a two-stage process. First, there will be a presentation assessment to evaluate the candidate’s writing, communication, and subject knowledge. This will be followed by a personal interview conducted by the duly constituted Selection Committee. Candidates will be shortlisted based on academic score out of 100 as per UGC regulations.
