DRDO IRDE Paid Internship 2025 For UG/PG Engineering And Science Students

Instruments Research and Development Establishment (IRDE), a premier laboratory under DRDO, has invited applications for a six-month paid internship program. The opportunity is available for final-year students pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate degrees in engineering or science disciplines.

As per the official notification (Advt. No. IRDE/HRD/PDINTERN/2025/01), a total of 45 paid internship slots are available in various streams. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹5,000. The internship tenure will be for six months and will be conducted at IRDE, Dehradun. Applicants must be below 28 years of age and have an academic record of 75% or 7.5 CGPA and above.

Interested candidates must submit their applications in the prescribed format by speed post to the Director, IRDE, Dehradun, before the last date i.e., 30 June 2025. The selection will be based on academic performance and interaction/interview. Completion certificates will be awarded only to those who complete the internship tenure.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must be pursuing a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate course in engineering or science in a recognized Indian university or institute. Students should be in their final year of study. A minimum of 75% marks or 7.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale is required. Age should be below 28 years as of the interview date. A request letter from the Principal/Director and copies of academic records must be included.
