Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) Assam Asset has released the official notification for recruiting Associate Consultants under the Prime Minister Internship Scheme (PMIS). The recruitment aims to onboard experienced ONGC retirees to mentor interns. A total of 7 vacancies across multiple disciplines, including Mechanical, Electrical, Drilling, Production, Electronics, Finance, and Geo-Sciences, are available. This engagement will be on a contractual basis, valid until November 30, 2025, or until the candidates reach the age of 65 years.

Candidates must meet the following criteria before applying:

Educational Qualification

Applicants must be retired ONGC executives with relevant qualifications and certifications in their respective disciplines. For Geo-Sciences posts, candidates from fields like Geology, Reservoir, Geophysics (Surface and Wells), etc., are eligible.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: Less than 64 years as of the engagement date.

Experience Required

• A minimum of 5 years of field experience in the relevant discipline is mandatory. Retired ONGC employees at E4 to E5 levels are preferred.
• For E6 level retirees, engagement will be capped at E5 remuneration.
