Ramban, 16 June 2026: Under the Presidentship of Former MLA & District President BJP Ramban, along with District Gen.Secretary Ramban Adv . Khajoor Singh, Vic. President Madan Singh , Vic Present Adv Balbir Singh, Vic Present Renuka , District Suman Kumari, BJYM President , Rajinder Singh, Mahila Morcha President Neelam Gupta, ST Morcha President Abdul Gani Bharatiya Janata Party, Ramban district, organized a press conference at the BJP Office, Ramban today to highlight the achievements of 12 years of the Modi Government.
Zorawar Singh Jamwal, Spokesperson, BJP J&K, addressed the media and described marvellous 12 years of Modi rule as strong foundation of Viksit Bharat 2047. He presented a detailed reading compilation of key initiatives and milestones of the Central Government since 2014.
Speaking on the occasion, the state spokesperson, Zorawar Singh Jamwal said that the last 12 years have been a period of “Seva, Sushasan, Gareeb Kalyan”. He highlighted schemes like Jan Dhan Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, Ujjwala Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, Make in India, Digital India, and infrastructure development in Jammu & Kashmir post-2019. He also lauded the Modi Government’s work for Jammu region, including rail connectivity, highways, and empowerment of youth & women.
Spokesperson Zorawar Singh Jamwal also elaborated on how the policies of PM Narendra Modi have brought transparency, good governance, and direct benefits to the last person in the queue. He said the people of Ramban district have also benefited immensely from central schemes.
Giving specific reference to J&K, Zorawar Singh Jamwal highlighted a new Era of development ushered in J&K, if one looks at National Highways, Flyovers, New Power Projects, Tunnels, road connectivity from Townships to Villages to far flung areas to hilly belts under PMGSY schemes. Besides, drinking water supply to every household are examples of good governance under Modi’s rule of 12 Years and becoming longest serving Prime Minister of the Country.
Stopping of stone pelting, steep decline in terrorist related incidents and befitting reply to each action of enemy country Pakistan have brought peace and prosperity for the people of J&K. It became possible only due to BJP led NDA Government at Center and visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
