3-week Summer Cricket Coaching Camp inaugurated at Parade Ground, Jammu

The three-week 7th Summer Cricket Coaching Camp for young boys and girls was inaugurated on Monday at Parade Ground, Jammu, by senior J&K Ranji Trophy cricketer Randhir Singh Jamwal.

The camp, as per a statement, is being supervised by senior Ranji Trophy cricketer Harsh Nayyar, who is serving as the Chief Organizer.

The coaching team comprises Rohit Bhat, Randhir Singh Jamwal, and Vikram Dogra. Former J&K Ranji Trophy captain Sanjay Sharma will also share his expertise and guidance with the participants.

The camp is being organised with the support of senior cricketers Kapil Dev Mahajan, Pawan Gupta, and Rajesh Jaitly, while Vikram Singh Bhadwal and Divender Sharma are serving as organisers.

Young boys and girls participating in the camp will be assessed based on their interest and abilities in batting, bowling, and wicket-keeping. Accordingly, specialized coaching will be provided to help them develop their cricketing skills. In addition to practical training, senior and experienced cricketers will deliver lectures on the technical aspects of the game. Fielding and physical fitness will be key components of the camp curriculum.

The participants will also be introduced to Yoga and Meditation techniques aimed at improving concentration, mental strength, and overall fitness.
