65-year-old Man Dies of Electrocution in North Kashmir | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: An elderly man died after being electrocuted in the Bandi Saidpora area of Uri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday evening.

Officials said the man accidentally came into contact with an electric current while working at his residence and sustained critical injuries.

Family members immediately shifted him to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Uri, where doctors declared him brought dead.

The deceased has been identified as Syed Mohd Shafi, 65, son of the late Walait Shah, a resident of Bandi Saidpora.

Meanwhile, police have registered a case and initiated further investigation into the incident. (GNS)
