DPS Baramulla, Islamic Public School, Army Goodwill School advance in Alfa Hockey Interschool Tournament

DPS Baramulla, Islamic Public School B.K. Pora, Government Higher Secondary School Handwara and Army Goodwill School Uri registered victories on the second day of the Alfa Hockey Interschool Tournament.

In the opening match, as per a statement issued on Wednesday, DPS Baramulla outplayed Boys High School Chogal 3-0 to secure a comfortable win.

In the second match Islamic Public School BK Pora and Lyceum International School, Pulwama, were locked at 3-3 at the end of regulation time. Islamic Public School held its nerve in the penalty shootout to clinch a 4-3 victory.

Government Higher Secondary School Handwara earned a walkover victory, while in the fourth match, Army Goodwill School Uri won 1-0 in a closely fought encounter.
