The Corps Commander highlighted the role played by the Indian Army during wars, counter-terror operations, natural disasters and other challenges, stating that the Army remains the first line of hope and support for the country in difficult times.

Addressing the newly inducted soldiers, Lt Gen Mishra said that from this day onwards they would not only wear the uniform and rank of the Army but also carry the aspirations and trust of millions of Indians.

He expressed confidence that their courage, determination and perseverance would inspire future generations and urged them to uphold the traditions of the Indian Army through dedication, discipline and professionalism.

The GOC also acknowledged the contribution of the families of the Agniveers and thanked them for supporting and encouraging their children to join the Indian Army.
