Labourer Killed, Ten Injured as Under-Construction Culvert Collapses in Jammu Kashmir | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: A labourer lost his life, while ten others sustained injuries in a tragic incident at the Ghill Nala area of Bhalessa in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, after an under-construction culvert collapsed during ongoing work on Tuesday.

Officials said that all the injured labourers, who are residents of Bihar, were immediately shifted for medical treatment following the incident.

They said the injured were later referred to Government Medical College (GMC) Doda due to the seriousness of their condition.

Meanwhile, police and local authorities have taken cognisance of the incident, while further investigation into the collapse is underway. (JKNS)
