Illegal Brick Kiln Demolished in Central Kashmir  | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: The District Administration in central kashmir’s Budgam district on Wednesday demolished an illegal brick kiln in the Mulshulla area of Tehsil Beerwah for allegedly operating without authorisation and in violation of environmental and land-use regulations.

The demolition was carried out under relevant legal provisions under the supervision of the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Beerwah. Tehsildar Beerwah, Station House Officer (SHO) Beerwah and other concerned officials were also present during the operation.

Officials said the action was part of ongoing measures to curb unauthorised brick kiln operations in the district.

A similar demolition drive was conducted in the Chadoora area of Budgam on May 19, officials added.
