Truck Carrying Poultry Overturns in South Kashmir | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: Hundreds of poultry birds were killed after a truck carrying them overturned near the Khudwani bypass area in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Monday, officials said.

According to officials, the vehicle met with an accident while passing through the bypass stretch, resulting in the death of a large number of birds on the spot.

The truck was being driven by Nisar Ahmad Chopan, son of Ghulam Mohammad Chopan, a resident of the Ompora area of Budgam.

Police have taken cognisance of the incident, and further investigation has been initiated. (KNC)
