IIT Jammu Recruitment 2026 Notification Released For RA-III, Project Associate-I And MTS Posts

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jammu has released an official notification inviting applications for RA-III, Project Associate-I and Multi-tasking Staff posts under a World Bank funded research project titled “Real-time monitoring and control of HVAC systems, supported by comprehensive data-library creation and dedicated IoT hardware development”.

A total of 07 vacancies are available for different project staff positions. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the IIT Jammu application portal before 26 May 2026. Candidates should check qualification, experience, salary, age limit and other details before applying.

Eligibility Criteria of IIT Jammu Vacancies

RA-III	Bachelor’s Degree/M.Tech/M.E./Ph.D. in relevant Engineering disciplines with required research and development experience	35 Years
Project Associate-I	B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering or Computer Science Engineering with minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA	35 Years
Multi-tasking Staff	Degree in any domain with computer knowledge	35 Years

Age relaxation up to 5 years is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/Women and physically handicapped candidates.

Project Associate-I (NET/GATE Qualified)	₹37,000 + HRA per month

Desired Skills and Experience

RA-III candidates should have knowledge of IoT systems, wireless communication, embedded systems, sensor networks, device interfacing and communication protocols such as RS485, SPI, I²C and UART.

Project Associate-I candidates should have experience in Full Stack Development using React.js, Next.js, Node.js, Firebase, WebSockets, REST APIs and NoSQL databases. Knowledge of HVAC systems and digital twin technologies is also desirable.

Multi-tasking Staff candidates should have computer knowledge and ability to perform administrative and routine office duties.
