Government Dental College & Hospital Srinagar has invited online applications from eligible domicile candidates of Jammu & Kashmir for engagement as full-time House Surgeons in various dental specialties.

Candidates who have completed their BDS Degree and internship from Government Dental College & Hospital Srinagar and possess valid Dental Council registration can apply for the tenure post of House Surgeon for a period of one year on consolidated stipend as per norms.

Eligibility Criteria of GMC Srinagar House Surgeon Vacancies

• Candidates must be domicile of Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
• Applicants must have completed BDS Degree from Government Dental College & Hospital Srinagar.
• Candidates must have completed internship.
• Applicants should possess valid Dental Council Registration Certificate with updated renewal.
• Doctors who have already completed House Job or left it midway are not eligible to apply.

Selection Process

The selection of House Surgeons will be made as per Government prescribed procedure for assessment of merit.

Preference will be given to fresh Dental Graduates from Government Dental College & Hospital Srinagar who have not done House Job earlier.

Candidates applying for more than one specialty must submit separate applications with order of preference specialty-wise.
