Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), Awantipora has released the official notification inviting online applications from eligible and interested candidates for the post of Image Data Analyst under a project titled “Photogrammetric Documentation of Artefacts Housed at SPS Museum, Srinagar & Dogra Art Museum, Jammu”.

The project is supported by the CSR initiative of J&K Bank. The engagement for the advertised post will be purely temporary for a period of six months. Candidates can apply online through the official university website before the last date.

Eligibility Criteria of IUST Vacancies

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications:

• B.Tech in CSE/IT/ECE or B.Arch with 2 years of work experience
• M.Tech in CSE/IT/ECE or M.Arch with 1 year of work experience

Desirable Qualification

• Experience in image-based data compilation, analysis, processing and cleaning
• Experience of working in culture and heritage sector

Remuneration

• Rs. 60,000 per month
• Duration: 6 months

Terms and Conditions

• The appointment will be purely temporary for six months or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier.
• The selected candidate will not have any claim for regularization in the university.
• The appointee will be governed by university disciplinary regulations.
• The engagement may be terminated without prior notice if performance is found unsatisfactory.
• The appointee cannot publish research findings or disclose project-related intellectual property without permission from the Principal Investigator.
• The terms and conditions will be governed as per university and funding agency rules.
• The university reserves the right to defer or not fill the advertised post without assigning any reason.
• The salary is subject to the release of funds by the funding agency.
