Final Seniority List of Horticulture Development Officers in J&K

Final Seniority list of Horticulture Development Officers and equivalent of J&K Horticulture (Gazetted) services.

Whereas, Final Seniority of Horticulture Development Officers was issued in the year 2018 vide Government Order No. 60 – Horti of 2018 Dated 17.04.2018.

Recruitment in Jammu Cantonment Board, Satwari

Whereas, some of the officers figuring in the above seniority list have been regularized /confirmed as District Horticulture Officers & Equivalent vide Government Order No. 395-JK(APD) of 2022 Dated 15-12-2022, Government Order No. 33 – JK(APD) of 2023 Dated 10-01-2023, Government Order No. 48 – JK(APD) of 2023 Dated 16-01-2023 and Government Order No. 140-JK (APD) of 2023 Dated 28-02-2023 on the recommendations of DPC/PSC.

Whereas, some officials have been confirmed/regularized as Horticulture Development Officers under promotion quota on the recommendations of DPC/PSC vide Government Order No. 394-JK(APD) of 2022 Dated 15-12-2022.

Whereas, fresh officers have also joined the Department as Horticulture Development Officers on the recommendations of JKPSC in year 2022 and 2025 and their names are to be added/inserted in the final Seniority list of HDOs.

Whereas Tentative seniority of Horticulture Development officer and equivalent as it stood on 01.01.2026 was issued vide Govt Order No. 124 Jk (APD) of 2026 dated 18.02.2026, and circulated among the members of the service through HoDs and print media to invite objections.

Whereas, the objections of stakeholders received in the department have been examined and disposed of on the merit of each case.

Now, therefore the final seniority list of Horticulture Development Officers & Equivalent as it stood on 01.01.2026 is hereby notified forming of annexure A to this order.

The date(s) of birth, category and qualification recorded in the seniority list shall not be authentic and shall be subject to further verification with reference to service record/ matriculation certificate/ qualification certificates of concerned officers/equivalence obtained in favour of the officers.

This issue without prejudice to the outcome of any writ petition(s) if any, pending before any competent court of law.
