50-Year-Old Critically Injured as Truck Overturns in Srinagar | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: A man sustained grievous injuries after falling from the rooftop of a truck that overturned on the New Bypass in the Lasjan area on the outskirts of Srinagar on Sunday, officials said.

The injured has been identified as Muhammad Iqbal Bokda, son of Gulam Muhammad Bokda, a resident of Mazmoo Qazigund, aged about 50.

Officials said the accident occurred when the truck overturned along the bypass, causing the man, who was sitting on top of the vehicle, to fall onto the road and sustain serious injuries.

Police rushed to the spot soon after the incident and shifted the injured to SMHS Hospital, Srinagar, for treatment. [KNT]
