Budgeting for May just got tougher. From today, May 1, 2026, the price of a 19kg commercial LPG cylinder has been hiked by a staggering ₹993, taking the cost to ₹3071.50 in Delhi. This massive spike is set to hit restaurants, cafes, and small businesses hard. Meanwhile, international travel is also getting pricier as Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) rates for international carriers rose by 5.33%. While domestic petrol, diesel, and household LPG prices remain stable for now, the global energy crisis fueled by the West Asia conflict is clearly tightening its grip on Indian pockets.
