Arnia, April 27, 2026: In a continued effort to combat the menace of drug abuse and to strengthen community participation, a PCPG cum awareness campaign was organized by SP Headquarters at Arnia today.
The programme witnessed active participation from young aspirants, and members of Border Villages who were sensitized about the harmful effects of drug addiction and its long-term consequences on health, career, and society. During the interaction, the youth were strongly motivated to say a firm “No to Drugs” and encouraged to channel their energy towards constructive pursuits such as sports, education, and skill development. They were urged to emerge as responsible citizens and strong pillars of support for their families and society at large.
The campaign emphasized the importance of collective responsibility in eradicating the drug menace and highlighted the role of youth as key stakeholders in building a drug-free society.
On this event SDPO R.S. Pura and SHO Arnia were present on the occasion along with the Sarpanch of Treva (a border village), Border Village Society Members and other respected members of the local community, who extended their full support to the initiative.
The event concluded with a collective resolve to strengthen the fight against drug abuse and to work unitedly towards the vision of a “Nasha Mukt Society.” which aims to curb drug trafficking and promote awareness at the grassroots level.
