ACC Zainakote lift title after thrilling final at HMT ground

ACC Zainakote clinched the title of the Zainakote Village Level Cricket Tournament after beating Bemina Legacy XI in a closely fought final at HMT Sports Ground, Zainakote.

Batting first, ACC Zainakote posted a competitive total of 185/6 in 20 overs, riding on a knock of 72 off 44 balls by Salman and a blistering unbeaten 56 from Adil Ahmad Dar. In reply, Bemina Legacy XI fought hard till the end but fell short by just six runs, finishing at 179/9 in their allotted overs.

The match, as per a statement issued by the organisers, witnessed a nail-biting finish, with ACC bowlers holding their nerves in the final overs. Fazil Hussain led the bowling attack with an impressive four-wicket haul, while Sameer chipped in with three crucial wickets to restrict the opposition.

The final drew massive support for the local side ACC from HMT Zainakote, with spectators turning up in large numbers to cheer their team throughout the contest. The electrifying atmosphere added to the intensity of the game as ACC battled hard to secure the win.
