
SRINAGAR: Government College for Women Nawa Kadal in Srinagar has introduced stringent disciplinary measures, enforcing a complete ban on the use of mobile phones and social media activity within its campus, with immediate suspension warned for any violations.
As per an official notice, students have been instructed to strictly comply with a set of rules designed to maintain discipline and ensure the smooth functioning of the institution. The directive prohibits the use of mobile phones anywhere on campus and disallows recording or creating short videos, including reels.
The notice also clearly bans uploading any content on social media from within the college premises. Authorities have cautioned that any breach of this rule will result in immediate suspension without prior notice, reflecting a strict enforcement policy.
Furthermore, students are not permitted to place or receive online orders, including food and parcels, on campus. During class hours, mobile phones must be kept on silent mode and kept inside their bags.
The administration has urged students to follow these guidelines in the interest of maintaining discipline, decorum, and a proper academic environment.
