DRDO DIPAS Paid Internship 2026–27 Notification For Engineering Students In Delhi And Haldwani

Defence Institute of Physiology and Allied Sciences (DIPAS), under Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, has released the official notification inviting applications from eligible engineering students for Paid Internship positions. The internship is offered to final year B.E./B.Tech and M.E./M.Tech students for the academic year 2026–2027.

There are multiple internship vacancies available across Mechanical, Computer Science, Electronics and Electrical Engineering disciplines at DIPAS Delhi and DIBER Haldwani locations. Internship Duration and Stipend Details

The duration of the internship will be six months starting tentatively from 01 July 2026.

A total stipend of Rs. 30,000 will be paid in two installments:

• Rs. 15,000 after completion of 3 months
• Rs. 15,000 after completion of 6 months

The stipend will be paid only if the student maintains minimum attendance of 15 days in a month.

Other expenses such as lodging, boarding, transport and medical expenses will be borne by the candidate during the internship period.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be carried out based on merit and/or physical or online interaction.

If two candidates obtain the same percentage of marks, the date of birth will be considered and the candidate older in age will be given preference.

Selected candidates will be informed through email regarding further joining procedures.
