Jammu, 21 April 2026: To provide enhanced facilities to passengers—specifically those heading home for summer vacations and tourists visiting Jammu and Kashmir—the Jammu Division of Northern Railway has introduced a provision for an additional coach. In this regard, a decision has been taken to augment the Jammu Rajdhani Express (Train No. 12425/12426) with an extra 3AC coach, thereby ensuring a superior and comfortable travel experience for passengers.
As per the decision taken by the Railways, one additional Third AC (3AC) coach will be attached to this premium train, Train No. 12426. This facility will remain effective from April 25 to April 30 consequently, this expansion will enable dozens of passengers to secure confirmed seats on a daily basis.
Commenting on this initiative, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Mr. Uchit Singhal, stated: “This temporary arrangement has been implemented to manage passenger rush during the vacation season and to facilitate a smoother journey for travelers. We are continuously monitoring the waiting lists to ensure that passengers receive the best possible service whenever the need arises.”
Passengers may utilize the IRCTC website or railway ticket counters to book their tickets.
