Eligibility Criteria of NIT Srinagar JRF Vacancies


Post Name Educational Qualification Age Limit
Junior Project Fellow M.Sc. in Chemistry or relevant subject with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PWD candidates) Maximum 28 years (Age relaxation as per Government norms)

Salary Details


Selected candidates will receive the following fellowship:

  • Rs. 24,000 per month for first two years
  • Rs. 28,000 per month for third year
  • 20 percent HRA will be provided
  • Hostel accommodation will not be provided

Project Details


Project Title: Circular Bioeconomy Approach towards Catalytic Transformation of Lignocellulosic or Biopolymeric Himalayan Waste into Durable and Degradable Bioplastic.

Duration of Project: 03 Years

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Development of lignocellulosic and biopolymeric Himalayan waste into durable and degradable bioplastic
  • Frequent travel for project related work
  • Work performance will be reviewed quarterly
