Police Conduct Searches at Residences of NDPS Accused in North Kashmir | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: Police in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district conducted searches at the residential houses of several NDPS accused across multiple locations as part of an ongoing anti-drug operation.

Police said the searches were carried out strictly in accordance with legal procedures and in the presence of respectable local witnesses to ensure transparency and accountability. The action forms part of the ongoing drive under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, aimed at dismantling drug networks and curbing narcotics-related activities in the region.

During the searches, police teams thoroughly examined the premises linked with the accused to collect evidence and trace further leads connected to drug trafficking networks.

Police reiterated their commitment to eliminating the drug menace from society and urged the public to extend cooperation by sharing any information related to drug peddling or substance abuse.
