NHPC Limited has released the official notification inviting applications from interested and eligible candidates for Apprentice posts in Graduate, Diploma and ITI trades. A total of 182 apprenticeship vacancies have been announced across multiple project locations.

The online application process for NHPC Apprentice Recruitment 2026 started on 15 April 2026 and will continue till 06 May 2026. Candidates aged between 18 and 30 years can apply online for one-year apprenticeship training with stipend ranging from Rs. 12,000 to Rs. 15,000 per month.

Candidates must meet the required educational qualification and age limit as given below.

PR Executive	Bachelor Degree with Mass Communication or Journalism	Rs. 15,000/month
Rajbhasha Assistant	M.A. Hindi or M.A. English with language proficiency	Rs. 15,000/month
Nursing Assistant	B.Sc Nursing	Rs. 15,000/month
Physiotherapy Assistant	Bachelor of Physiotherapy	Rs. 15,000/month
Supervisor (HR)	BBA	Rs. 13,500/month

Age Limit:

Minimum Age: 18 Years

Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government rules.

Selection Process of NHPC Apprentice Recruitment 2026

Selection will be based entirely on merit calculated from academic performance.

Preference will be given in the following order:

Candidates from Project Affected Families.
Candidates from the concerned district of the project location.
Candidates from the concerned State or UT.
Candidates from other States or UTs based on merit.
