Srinagar, April 10: National Conference President and former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday damned the idea suggesting Nobel Peace Prize for brokering the US- Iran ceasefire and hosting talks between the two .
Interacting with media in Srinagar after Friday prayers, Farooq said the very suggestion is unfortunate. “ You work for humanity not for prizes,” he said while ridiculing the idea
Pakistan is delusional ever since US President Donald Trump announced two week ceasefire on April 8, hours before his deadline of making “ a civilisation to die on Tuesday night “. Pakistan delivered a 10 point ceasefire plan of Iran to the US.
Now talks are scheduled to be held in Islamabad , Pakistan from tomorrow though a thick cloud is hanging over these as Israel continues fighting Lebanon and Iran is having second thoughts on ceasefire and talks .
Farooq’s comments are significant because these imply that Pakistan was chosen for exchanging notes between Iran and America because of its geographical proximity to Iran – Pakistan shares over 900 Kms of border with Iran, and also happens to be a yes boss boy of the United States.
Pakistan’s cry for Nobel peace prize has been snubbed in Kashmir.
