Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Accident in South Kashmir | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: A man was killed in a hit-and-run accident in the Heerpora area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Tuesday, officials said.

The deceased has been identified as Farooq Ahmad Sheikh, son of Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh, a resident of Borihallan.

Officials said the man was hit by an unknown vehicle in the area, resulting in his death. The driver fled the scene following the incident.

Police have taken cognizance of the matter and initiated an investigation to identify the vehicle and the driver involved.
