JPDCL Schedules Power Shutdown in Several Areas | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: The Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL) has announced scheduled power outages across several areas in Jammu division between April 3 and April 7 due to maintenance and related works.

According to the Chief Engineer (Distribution), JPDCL Jammu, power supply to Sarthal and adjoining areas will remain affected on April 4 and 5 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

The Superintending Engineer, JPDCL O and M Circle Kathua, informed that Vijaypur Industry, Industry-II, Samba and nearby areas will face outages on April 5 from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Similarly, power supply to PHE Rakh, PHE Samba and adjoining areas will be affected on April 4 and 6 from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, while Balote, Navodaya, Nud and surrounding areas will witness outages on April 3 and 5 from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

In addition, Rahya, Baba Sidhgoriya and adjoining areas will face power cuts on April 4 and 6 from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Power supply to Samba-I, PHE installations and nearby areas will remain disrupted on April 3, 4 and 7 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

JPDCL has advised residents to take necessary precautions during the scheduled shutdowns.
