Eligibility Criteria of Central University of Jammu Vacancies

Below are the required educational qualifications and desirable qualifications for each post.

1) Post: Clinical Psychologist

Essential Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Psychology / Applied Psychology / Clinical Psychology from a recognized University
• M.Phil in Clinical Psychology (2-year full-time) from an RCI-recognized institution
  OR
• Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from a recognized University
• Valid registration with Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) as Clinical Psychologist
• Training in psychological assessment, diagnosis, and psychotherapy

Desirable Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology or related field
• Experience in hospital/mental health clinic/university counseling setup
• Expertise in psychological testing, counseling, and psychotherapy techniques
• Publications in reputed journals / research experience
• Training in specialized areas such as CBT, neuropsychology, child psychology, or rehabilitation psychology

2) Post: Yoga Teacher

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Yoga / Yoga Science / Yoga Therapy from a recognized University
  OR
• Any Graduate with Diploma/Certification in Yoga (minimum 1-year duration) from a recognized institution
• Adequate knowledge of Yoga practices (Asanas, Pranayama, Meditation)
• Good communication and teaching skills

Desirable Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Yoga / Yoga Science
• Certification from recognized bodies like Ministry of AYUSH / Yoga Certification Board
• Experience in teaching Yoga in schools/universities/fitness centres
• Knowledge of yogic philosophy, anatomy, and therapy
• Participation in Yoga workshops, camps, or national/international events

Application Fee

Eligible candidates are required to deposit Rs. 500 as application processing fee in the form of DD in favour of Finance Officer, Central University of Jammu payable at Jammu. SC/ST candidates are exempted from fee payment.

Important Instructions

• Mere possession of eligibility conditions does not entitle a candidate to appear for interview.
• Candidates must bring original documents and supporting materials at the time of interview.
• Suppression of factual information or submission of false documents may lead to cancellation of candidature.
• Engagement will be purely on contract basis for six months initially.
• The contract may be extended based on satisfactory performance and University requirements.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
