Khelo India Asmita Fencing League held in Kupwara

Srinagar, Mar 31: The Khelo India Asmita Fencing League was conducted in Kupwara with enthusiastic participation of young fencers, particularly girls, as part of efforts to promote women’s involvement in sports and strengthen grassroots competition.

As per a JKSC statement, organised under the aegis of the Khelo India, the league aims to promote women’s participation in sports and provide a competitive platform at the grassroots level.

The event showcased remarkable talent, discipline, and sporting spirit, reflecting the growing popularity of fencing in the region and the positive impact of structured sports initiatives in empowering youth through sports.
